Mahmoud is an entrepreneur, coach, consultant, trainer, educator, and TEDx speaker. He holds a Ph.D in Education and Professional Learning from the University of Oxford. 

As an entrepreneur, Mahmoud founded PL∴Y to inspire and empower individuals and groups to transform, through play, the way they live, learn and work.  

As a coach, Mahmoud helps his clients develop higher levels of awareness, achieve more clarity by decluttering their thinking, and make choices that enhance their wellbeing and invite surprise and possibility into their lives.  

As a consultant and trainer, he has worked with several local and international organizations in areas spanning strategic planning, team and capacity building, organizational development, and staff self-care including UNDP, USAID, UNIC, Morgan International, World Learning, Center for Educational Research and Development (CERD), Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE), UNICEF, UNESCO, GIZ, forumZFD, ILO, among others. He has also supported the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE) in developing and drafting the National Education 2030 Strategy for Lebanon. 

Mahmoud also teaches at the Departments of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences at the Lebanese American University. 

As a speaker, he has presented at several local and international events including TEDxBeirut, TEDxEast (New York), among others.
